Singing Detective, The
Based on Dennis Potter's 1986 BBC award-winning masterpiece. The story focuses on Dan Dark (Robert Downey Jr.), an unsuccessful writer, confined to a hospital bed with a serious skin condition. While hospitalized, he allows his imagination to run over the entire plot of his first book, reworking the story with himself in the role of main protagonist. A curious combination of fantasy and reality with musical outbursts from the 1940's.
